Distinctive Capabilities and its Impact on Strategic Orientation: The Case of Small and Medium Enterprises in Iraq

This research examines the role of Distinctive capabilities through its three dimensions (Architecture, Reputation and Innovation) on strategic orientation. The study was applied in 34 small and medium enterprises in Iraq, and the questionnaire included 237 people who were randomly selected from corporate employees. After the data has been collected, it was analyzed in order to clarify the relationship between the factors. The results of this study showed that Distinctive Ccapabilities has an impact on Strategic Orientation, and the hypotheses of this study were supported by further research in other countries and other forms of legal work to generalize the results.
