Abstract

Skill development and employment generation are critical components of India’s vision of achieving a developed economy by 2047. This study examines the role of skill development initiatives in promoting employment generation and improving livelihood opportunities in Sangareddy District of Telangana in the context of Viksit Bharat 2047. The study focuses on the relationship between skill development, employability, employment outcomes, and local economic development. Primary data were collected through a structured questionnaire from 100 respondents comprising students, trainees, youth, and workers in Sangareddy District, supported by secondary information from government reports, research studies, and relevant institutional sources. Descriptive statistical methods, including percentages, tabulation, and comparative analysis, were used to interpret the data.
